Take your English skills to another level. Join us for an English language learners' book club where we read aloud together and discuss the book.
The title for October is "The Pearl" by John Steinbeck.
“The Pearl” is the story of the Mexican diver Kino, whose discovery of a magnificent pearl from the Gulf beds means the promise of a better life for his impoverished family.
Adults. Registration is recommended and begins September 20.
After registration, you may pick up a free copy of the book at the Central Library.
