Botanical Illustrations

Using your own powers of observation, learn techniques of how to paint flowers and plants with acrylics, following simple principles of design and color. This program is funded by Virginia Beach Arts and Humanities Commission and Helen G. Gifford Foundation. 

Asiko-oluwa Aderin is a visual artist who earned her Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design from Norfolk State University. She was the first artist to graduate from our Emerging Teaching Artist program to become a Teaching Artist on the Arts for Learning Virginia roster.
