Build early language and large motor skills through rhyme, songs, book sharing, and hands-on activities with your child. Ages 3-24 months with caregiver. Registration is required.

Play Bingo, win prizes, and learn techniques for stretching, breathing, balance and fall prevention.  This is a free 10 week course that meets twice a week for 1 hour provided by Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia, and ends on October 1

Help build early language skills as your child moves from crawling to walking. Storytimes include rhymes, books, and hands-on activities to build pre-reading and large motor skills. Ages 12-24 months with caregiver. Registration is required.

Participate in fun activities, meet other kids and parents, and practice kindergarten readiness! Kindergarten Gear Up is a 6 session program that prepares kids and parents with the skills needed to be prepared for kindergarten.

Enjoy a small-group storytime designed to allow your babies to explore a variety of sensory experiences.  Caregivers, please plan to assist your child in safely exploring the materials and activities. Ages 12-24 months.

If you are a non-native English speaker, join us to practice your conversational English in a friendly setting. Each week we discuss a different topic and do fun activities!

Ages 16+. Registration is not required.

Use your imagination to build creations out of stackable bricks and other materials. Grades Pre-K-5. Registration is not required.

Come and get a taste of a good book! Explore the different genres the library has to offer. Grades 2nd-6th. Registration is required.

Explore Science, Engineering, Technology, Arts and Math in this interactive program. Grades 3-5.  Registration is required. 

Get those fingers working! Build hand/eye coordination and muscles in your child's hand. Practice skills like cutting with scissors, writing, and drawing with fun learning activities. Ages 3 - 7. Registration is required.  

Learn how to program the KIBO robot across different planets and respond to obstacles it finds while exploring. Grades K-2. Registration is required.

Use your imagination to build creations out of stackable bricks and other materials. Grades 3-5. Registration is not required.

Join us Thursday nights for teen-only activities. Enjoy anime, games, crafts, and more, with different selections each week. Showings change monthly and may be rated up to TV-14/PG-13. Grades 6-12.
