Get those fingers working! Build hand/eye coordination and muscles in your child's hand.  Practice skills like cutting with scissors, writing, and drawing with fun learning activities.  Ages 3-7 with caregiver.

Use your imagination to build creations out of stackable bricks and other materials. Ages 5-11. Registration is not required.

The Virginia Opera presents Dragon's Breath! Dragon’s Breath is an interactive, hour-long, educational opera that teaches children the importance of empathy and self-love.

Join us for a family game day that explores our Accessible Games collection.  Play versions of your favorite games that include Braille cards and pieces or build with Braille Legos.  Ages 5-11. No registration required.

Join us during the Winter Wildlife Festival for a story and craft event. Preschoolers (3-5 years) through 2nd grade with caregiver. Registration is required. 

Art Moves Us into neighborhoods across the city this winter! Virginia MOCA is partnering with Virginia Beach Public Library to offer free, all-ages artmaking from January through March.

Stop by the children's area and fill out a speech bubble in response of Martin Luther King Jr's "I Have A Dream" Speech. These bubbles will be displayed in the children's area during January.

It's Winter Wildlife Festival week so come learn about the coastal wildlife of Virginia! There will be a variety of crafts and activities celebrating our local winter wildlife as well as information about the festival. Ages 3-8 with a caregiver.
