Foil, color, and crafting come together in this hands-on art program.  Participants will create vibrant pieces inspired by Black History Month.

All supplies provided.  Ages 9-13.  Registration is required.

Tunisian crochet is a unique mix of crochet and knitting that creates a thick fabric often used for scarves, sweaters, and blankets. This type of stitch is also perfect for making utility pieces like washcloths or dishtowels.

Calling all book lovers!  Learn about the art of crafting a book review while creating your own beaded pen. Put your new skills (and pen) to paper as you craft a book review for one of your favorite titles.

The Battle of the Books is an annual library event that encourages literacy and provides recognition to fifth graders who enjoy reading. Pre-registered teams will compete with schools across the city by answering questions based on the books.

Get moving, get stretching, and ease your mind. This creative movement Storytime will feature simple, child friendly yoga poses and engaging stories. Bring your own mat or towel, or use our carpet!
