Perform, create, and have fun! Join us to explore various art forms. Each class features a new skill, artist, artistic movement or technique. Grades 3-5. Registration is required.

Rotating competition is organized by the club coordinator.  Knowledge of chess rules is required; limited instruction may be provided for beginners.  Chess equipment has been generously donated by Virginia Chess Federation, private donor

Adventure awaits! Join a new Dungeons & Dragons campaign with other interested teens led by a Library Game Master. No prior experience required, new players welcome! All supplies and character sheets will be provided. 

Calling all tweens! Here's your chance to meet other tweens, make new friends, and enjoy fun activities. This month we will be drawing and creating with 3D pens.

Grades 4-7. Registration is required.

Bring your Pokémon cards and games to trade, battle, and more with other local players. Hang out, chat with other fans, and make a craft. This session we will be playing party games themed after Pokemon! "Catch ‘em all" at the library this month!

Come build with us!  Use your imagination to design and construct your project using many different types of building sets. Preschool-Grade 5. Registration is required.

Come in for for 1.5 hours of board games and video games.

Grades 9-12 and homeschool teens. Registration is not required; just drop in!

Come unwind, play with kittens, learn about the adoption process, and meet other animal loving teens.  Participants will need to complete a waiver to engage with the animals.

Do your little ones make big noises? No problem! Bring them along for this judgment-free book club for adults. Talk about books while your kids play. Registration is not required but preferred.

Use your imagination to build creations out of stackable bricks and other materials. Grades Pre-K-5. Registration is not required.

Calling all homeschool tweens! Here's your chance to meet other tweens, make new friends, and enjoy fun activities. This month's activity is playing video games! Grades 4-6. Registration is required.

Plastics can take decades or even centuries to decompose. Make your kitchen greener by learning how to make reusable food wrappers from beeswax. Materials are supplied and participants will take home their finished products. Adults 18+.

Use your imagination to build creations out of stackable bricks and other materials. Grades K-5. Registration is not required.

Practice your reading skills by sharing stories with a therapy dog. Bring your own book or choose one from our selection!  Grades K-2.  Registration is required.

Learn the basics of felting and create a cute cat by the end of this program! Materials provided. Grades 9-12. Registration is required.

Learn some dry felting basics to make a simple keychain or creature.  This is one of these crafts that is quick to learn and that can get you into a relaxing rhythm and meditative state.  Just let the stress "felt" away!
