Details
Celebrate National Poetry Month with a self-directed activity kit to create a wreath inspired by the poetry of Joy Harjo, 23rd U.S. Poet Laureate, and the first Native American appointed to this prestigious literary position. Included in the kit are the supplies needed to create the wreath, step-by-step instructions, a copy of a poem by Joy Harjo and a bookmark to help you find her inspiring work in the VBPL collection. Registration required. Adults 18+.
Supplies will be distributed at Central Library, and registrants will receive an email once their kits are available for pick-up. Supplies are limited.
