Join us at the library to learn about Grace Sherwood, the Witch of Pungo. Dr. Scott Moore, Associate Professor of History at Eastern Connecticut University and native to Virginia Beach, will present and discuss the history of this local figure: learn about Sherwood’s history, her trial, and how the oral folklore has filled the gaps of her story. Light refreshments will be served before the presentation. Teens and adults. Registration is required.
