History Comes Alive! Book Club

For the April book club meet us at the Virginia Beach Art Center, 532 Virginia Beach Blvd. Virginia Beach, 23451 to learn about the history of the Center and view their April exhibit, "Going Green."

We will discuss  "The Garden of Evening Mists: a novel" by Tan Twan Eng. In this Walter Scott Prizewinner for Historical fiction, the story centers on Yun Ling, the lone survivor of a wartime camp, and Aritomo, a mysterious Japanese gardener and artist, who takes her on as his apprentice. 

Book club copies are available in print for pick up at Central Library or call 385-0150 to reserve a copy.
