Join us for our April read, The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner. A novel that alternates between the Georgian era and contemporary society, The Lost Apothecary begins on a cold February evening in 1791, at the back of a dark London alley in a hidden apothecary shop.
Prior to the book discussion, Miriam Jackson, Programs & Events Associate with Virginia Beach History Museums, will discuss herbal remedies and give a tour of the Lynnhaven House.
The Lost Apothecary is available in Large Print, audio and paperback for pick up at Central Library for registered participants. The book is also available as an E-book and streaming audiobook on Overdrive and Hoopla.
