History Comes Alive! Book Club

Read The Obituary Writer: a novel by Ann Hood then meet at the Lynnhaven House for a book discussion. 

Madeline Laing, Cultural Affairs, will present about death, mourning and funeral practices in Colonial Virginia and give a brief tour of the house and box tombs on the site. 

Books are available in print and large print hardcovers for pick up at Central Library or call 385-0150 to reserve a copy. The book is also available as a streamed audiobook.
