Enjoy a warm and inviting space where you and your child can play and socialize with others in the community. Please note: This is a social event for both caregiver and child, as opposed to a traditionally structured program.

It’s never too soon to introduce your baby to art! Join us at the Pungo-Blackwater library for a sensory art experience that improves your baby’s fine motor skills and stimulates their curiosity. Dress in clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Snow and tell, make a memory to keep or share.  Come have a digital photo taken in front of our green screen with winter backgrounds to choose from.  Make a craft and try your hand at snow bowling.  All ages.

You are your child’s teacher! In this 45 minute session, parents and caregivers will learn techniques to support early literacy at home through daily routines as they sing, talk, read, write, and play together.

Approximately 4.6 million pounds of wrapping paper is produced in the US each year and over half of that ends up in our landfills!

Learn how to wrap gifts through Craftsy. Practice materials will be provided.

However, you may bring gifts and wrapping paper if you would like to use the opportunity to wrap presents for holidays or birthdays. 

Come swap plants with other community members! Bring your own plants, cuttings, or seeds to trade. Plants must be healthy and pest-free. Adults. No registration is required.
