Day Calendar

Enjoy a warm and inviting space where you and your child can play and socialize with others in the community. Please note: This is a social event for both caregiver and child, as opposed to a traditionally structured program.

Bring your babies to explore different artistic styles. Please come dressed in attire that can get messy. Ages 6-24 months with caregiver. Registration is required.

Get those fingers working! Build hand/eye coordination and muscles in your child's hand.  Practice skills like cutting with scissors, writing, and drawing with fun learning activities.  Ages 3-7 with caregiver.

Use your imagination to build creations out of stackable bricks and other materials. Grades K-5. Registration is not required.

Learn about what makes reptiles special, where they live in the wild, and the care they require. Then meet some of REV’s reptile friends! For Grades K-12.  

Do you love fantasy books or just think fairies are really cool?  Join us to talk about your favorites, get recommendations from others, hear about fairies around the world and find your next fairy read.  We will also make a fairy craft

Launch yourself into Newton’s three laws of motion! Yank a cloth from under dishes, send crash test dummies flying and try to catch eggs in a beaker. Presented by Mad Science of Hampton Roads.

In this workshop, students will cut, fold, and draw to create their own mini-comic. An Arts for Learning teaching artist will guide students as they invent characters, plots, and settings for an adventure inside the pages of a mini-comic.
