Do you want to use a 3D Printer at a Virginia Beach Public Library branch? Register for a required 3D printer orientation with a VBPL staff member to learn how to use the 3D Printer.  

Enjoy a warm and inviting space where you and your child can play and socialize with others in the community. Please note: This is a social event for both caregiver and child, as opposed to a traditionally structured program.

Bayside Library and Westminster Canterbury are providing a brain-fitness program for older adults designed to maximize physical, mental, and social well-being through fun, stimulating activities. 

Enjoy a casual chat about popular books. Talk about titles you like and hear what others enjoy. Swap favorites old and new or spread the word about your favorite reads.

If you are a non-native English speaker, join us to practice your conversational English in a friendly setting. Each week we discuss a different topic and do fun activities!

Come hang out and try a new hands-on DIY project each month this summer! Supplies will be provided. Grades 4th-6th. Registration required.

Rotating competition is organized by the club coordinator.  Knowledge of chess rules is required; limited instruction may be provided for beginners.  Chess equipment has been generously donated by Virginia Chess Federation, private donor

Come join us to learn basic mending skills like sewing on a button, fixing small rips and tears.  Great life skills for adults as well as teens heading for college!  All program supplies provided.

Adventure awaits! Join a new Dungeons & Dragons campaign with other interested teens led by a Library Game Master. No prior experience required, new players welcome! All supplies and character sheets will be provided. 

Hang out, play the card game, and make a craft! Bring your Pokémon cards and games to trade, battle, and more with other local players. Grades 3-8. Registration is required.
