Help prepare your child to enter school ready to read!  This storytime includes books, rhymes, and literacy activities that emphasize alphabet and letter recognition plus activities that support independence and confidence building.

Enjoy stories, rhymes, songs, concepts (i.e. colors, shapes, etc.,) and early literacy tips with your curious toddler as they develop independence, as well as pre-literacy and social skills. Age 2 with caregiver.

Boost independence and develop social skills using writing activities, basic concepts (i.e., colors, shapes, letters, etc.), large muscle movement, and social-emotional learning opportunities focusing on the whole child. Age 2 with a caregiver.

Stop by the children's area and fill out a speech bubble in response of Martin Luther King Jr's "I Have A Dream" Speech. These bubbles will be displayed in the children's area during January and February.

If you are a non-native English speaker, join us to practice your conversational English in a friendly setting. Each week we discuss a different topic and do fun activities!

Join us for an afternoon of conversation as we get to know one another, explore the elements that enrich our lives, and look for ways to increase our joy. Adults 18+. Registration is required.

Join us Tuesday nights for teen-only activities. Enjoy movies, games, crafts, and more, with different selections each week.

Grades 6-12. Registration is not required, drop in any time!

Weekly Themes:

Bring your Pokemon cards and games to trade, battle, and more with other local players. Hang out, chat with other fans, and make a craft. This session will feature an activity where we make our own Pokemon cards.

Hang out at the library and get creative! All supplies will be provided for a monthly artsy activity, but feel free to bring in works in progress! Grades 6-12. Registration is not required.

Teen Times:

Meet at Commonwealth Brewery to discuss this month’s selected title. January's title will be The Guest Book by Sarah Blake. Book club copies are available for check-out at the Bayside Special Services Library drive-up. Adults.
