Reading is an adventure--and so is kayaking. Virginia Beach Public Library and Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation are partnering this season to combine reading and kayaking for a unique book discussion!

Enjoy a small-group storytime designed to allow children to explore a variety of sensory experiences.

Celebrate Juneteenth by making a red hibiscus paper flower decoration. Place it on a door or use it as a table centerpiece. Learn about the significance of the color red in Juneteenth celebrations.  Adults. Registration is required.

Soonja Woo Cho, an award winning artist, will demonstrate a unique style of painting using Oriental brushes, ink and watercolor.
