The bookmobile is hitting the road and visiting all the Virginia Beach Public Library locations. Take a tour during this “open house” and be one of the first to check out materials from the new bookmobile.

Bring your babies to explore different artistic styles. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy! Ages 3-24 months with caregiver. Registration is not required.

Enjoy a preschool storytime with the family to celebrate the new bookmobile! The storytime will take place outside, so bring your lawn chairs and dress for the weather.
If it rains, we will relocate to the storytime room.

Drop-in for a fun craft for your family to enjoy! All supplies are provided. Family. Registration is not required. 

Bring your craft, your supplies and your passion! Meet other crafters and creators, share your ideas and get new ones! Adults. Registration is not required.

Move and shake with music! Come learn about scales, different types of instruments, composers and the world of music in a new and fun way! Grades 2nd-5th.  Registration required.
