Reading is an adventure--and so is kayaking. Virginia Beach Public Library and Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation are partnering to combine reading and kayaking for another exciting book discussion!
There are lots of ways to make music. Join us as we use a variety of instruments, our voices and our bodies. Feel free to bring in your own instruments from home. You will make your own instrument to take home. Ages 2.

Get those fingers working! Build hand/eye coordination and muscles in your child's hand. Practice skills like cutting with scissors, writing, and drawing with fun learning activities. Ages 3-7 with caregiver.
Enjoy a warm and inviting space where you and your child can play and socialize with others in the community. Please note: This is a social event for both caregiver and child, as opposed to a traditionally structured program.

Use your imagination to build creations out of stackable bricks and other materials. Grades K-5. Registration is not required.

Library staff and volunteers will be available to provide brief guided tours of the "Americans and the Holocaust" exhibit. Tours will begin every half hour beginning at 10 a.m. with the final tour starting at 3:30 p.m.
