Calling all tweens! Here's your chance to meet other tweens, make new friends, and enjoy fun activities. This month's activity is creating several dragon-themed crafts. 

Grades 4-8. Registration is required.

Join Ryan the Balloon Guy for this workshop on making a variety of balloon creations. Grades 6-12. Registration is required.

Enjoy a storytime with a ballet teacher and student ballerina from Ballet Virginia, try out some poses pictured in the book, and then participate in a “mini" ballet class. Ages 4-10 years old. Registration is required.

Teens -  Become a detective and use your observation skills to help solve a murder mystery. The winner gets a prize! Grades 6-12. Registration required.

It’s a paint party!  Get creative with a tiny canvas, and make your own beach scene, going extra with sand and seashells. All supplies provided.

Adventure awaits! Join a new Dungeons & Dragons campaign with other interested teens led by a Library Game Master. No prior experience required, new players welcome! All supplies and character sheets will be provided.

Want to practice your drawing skills? Bring your favorite journal, art materials or just pencil and paper and join us at Princess Anne to sketch different parts of the library! Appropriate for teens and adults. Registration is required.

Learn creative and visible mending techniques to repair torn clothing or clothing with holes. Feel free to bring a piece of your clothing to repair or use the materials we have on hand to practice.

Teens will construct a miniature bridge out of toothpicks and see how sturdy they can make them.  Bonus, use creativity, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking in this challenge.
