Reading is an adventure--and so is kayaking. Virginia Beach Public Library and Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation are partnering to combine reading and kayaking for a unique book discussion!

Meet us at Lake Lawson/Lake Smith, 5381 Shell Road (off Northampton Blvd.) to leave the dock by 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 27 to discuss Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. The book is available in large print, audio and print format to pick up at Central Library for registered participants. The book is also available as an e-book and streaming audiobook on Overdrive.

Beginners welcome. Participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the location/event. 

All registered participants will receive an email before the event with important information.
