The American Friends of Lafayette (AFL) have developed a six panel traveling exhibit. Learn the important stories of Lafayette’s life and legacy including his American Revolution participation, his critical role in cementing the Franco-American Alliance, and his lifelong passion for human rights will be on display throughout the day in the main area of the library. This history is shared through historic images, carefully researched content curated by education and museum professionals.

This exhibit strives to make Lafayette’s story more accessible and relevant to today’s citizens and kicks off the Bicentennial of Lafayette's Farewell Tour of Virginia. Registration is not required.
