Meet the Artist: Ting Mei

Ting Mei’s solo exhibition displays various forms of Chinese painting and Chinese calligraphy fonts.

Her works include classic brushwork based on calligraphy strokes, impressionistic painting to portray intrinsic spirit, and meticulously detailed painting (GongBi) that more closely mirrors the physical reality.

There are landscapes, flowers and birds, and human figures, as well as various calligraphic works such as regular script, official script, seal script and cursive script. 

Many of these works have been accepted and awarded by the most prestigious international painting and calligraphy exhibitions in the United States.
