Reading is an adventure--and so is kayaking. Virginia Beach Public Library and Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation are partnering this season to combine reading and kayaking for a unique book discussion!

Meet us at Stumpy Lake, 4797 Indian River Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456  to leave the dock by 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8.

We will discuss "No Barriers: A Blind Man's Journey to Kayak the Grand Canyon" by Erik Weihenmayer.

Book club books are available in print and large print format to pick up at the Central Library for registered participants. 

Beginners welcome. Participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the location/event. 

All registered participants will receive an email before the event with important information.

Adults. Registration is required.
