Reading is an adventure--and so is kayaking. Virginia Beach Public Library and Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation are partnering  to combine reading and kayaking for another exciting book discussion!

Meet us at Stumpy Lake Natural Area, 4797 Indian River Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456 to leave the dock by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Note: Rain date is Sunday, September 14, 2025. 

We will discuss "Daisy Darker" by Alice Feeney, a thriller in the vein of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, with unforgettable twists.

Book club books are available in print and large print format and audiobook to pick up at the Central Library for registered participants. 

Kayak beginners welcome. Participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the location/event. 

All registered participants will receive an email before the event with important information.

Adults. Registration is required.
