STEAMProgram Description
Details
Come discover the local wildlife of Virginia Beach with your young Nature Pals! Each month we will explore a different group of animals in this free grownup and me program for ages 3-7. One outdoor session at the Princess Anne Library culminates with a field trip session to Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Please dress accordingly for this outdoor program; inside sessions will only take place in the event of rain. Grownup participation is important for this hands-on program. While the program is free, an entrance fee of $5.00/vehicle (cash or check) is applicable from April - October for the field trip to Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Registration is required. This is a month registration.
**Due to the popularity of this program, if you are registered but do not come on the first day of class, your spot will not be held. Instead, we will open that spot for someone on the waitlist. If there are extenuating circumstances, please call us prior to the start of the program, and we will do our best to hold the spot for you. Thank you for your understanding.
**Previous participants: Please bring your lanyard and nature journals!
