Program Description

Details

Attend this information session to learn about LENA Start, a parent education program that focuses on the importance of talking with babies to build early vocabulary and support critical brain development by utilizing LENA technology. This information session will review how the program works, explain the LENA technology that utilizes personal recorders as “talk pedometers,” and outline the logistics of the 10-week class series. After the orientation, caregivers may register for the virtual LENA Start series that begins on September 29 and receive their class materials. For caregivers with babies up to 32 months. Call 385-7131 (Lynn Jacobs) or 385-0132 (Crystal Parker) for more information.

Registration is required. You will receive an email 24 hours before the event with login details. The virtual room opens 5 minutes before the event. If you receive a message that the room is closed, please try again closer to the event time.
