Movie Matinee: Celebrate A New Year and New Beginnings

This month is the start of a new year and new beginnings. We may have made New Year's resolutions to make better choices, to in some way improve from last year. Our movies this month show triumph over adversity, and show characters overcoming and getting a fresh start. We will begin with Groundhog Day, featuring Bill Murray as a news anchor who gets trapped in a repeating cycle.
