Outdoor Book Club: Kayaking

Reading is an adventure--and so is kayaking. Virginia Beach Public Library and Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation are partnering again to combine reading and kayaking for a unique book discussion!

Meet us at Lake Lawson/Lake Smith, 5381 Shell Road (off Northampton Blvd.) to leave the dock by 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 17 to discuss This Tender Land: a novel by William Kent Krueger.

The book is available in large print, audio and print format to pick up at Central Library for registered participants. It is also available as an e-book and streaming audiobook.

Beginners welcome. Participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the location/event. 

All registered participants will receive an email before the event with important information.

Adults. Registration is required.
