Outdoor Book Club: Kayaking

Reading is an adventure--and so is kayaking. Virginia Beach Public Library and Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation are partnering again for another unique book discussion!

Meet us at Stumpy Lake Natural Area, 4797 Indian River Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456 to leave the dock by 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 23 to discuss the true story, No Barriers, A Blind Man's Journey to Kayak the Grand Canyon.  

The book is available in print and large print format to pick up at Central Library for registered participants. It is also available as a streaming audiobook on hoopla.

Beginners welcome. Participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the location/event. 

All registered participants will receive an email before the event with important information.

Adults. Registration is required.
