Preschool Art: Lois Ehlert

Calling all artists! Come learn about author/illustrator Lois Ehlert, and make art for the 2022 Winter Wildlife Festival Community Art Project. Use materials you might have thought to throw away, including random scraps of paper, cardboard, natural materials, painted leftover pieces of paper to make a piece of art that represents the birds, and other animals that we observe in Hampton Roads. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring some of your own. All submissions must be on an 8x8 piece of paper and will be submitted by library staff. Individual submissions will be assembled into a quilt and displayed at the 2022 Winter Wildlife Festival Exhibit Hall on Saturday, January 29 at Princess Anne Recreation Center. Ages 3-5 with caregiver. Registration is required.
