Program Description

Details

Join artist Hillarey Breedlove in a special workshop celebrating the 30th anniversary of Ken Daley’s vibrant art installation housed at the MEO Central Library, "Parataxis." Daley masterfully combined elements of light, glass, and literary references to create an immersive and thought-provoking experience.

Inspired by Daley’s vision, you’ll create your own "Parataxis Collage" on a 10x10 inch wood board. We'll guide you through combining paint, paper, and various shapes to convey a concept of your choosing. It’s a dynamic process of "Paint, Cut, Set, Glue, and Repeat" that promises to unleash your creativity and result in a truly unique and colorful artwork.

Ready to explore the art of meaningful juxtaposition? Join us and create something extraordinary!
