Youtube Video Post: Art Exhibit & Meet the Artist: Mike Lane

Join us for a virtual art show of paintings by Mike Lane followed by an interview with the artist.  A Tidewater native, Mike Lane spent thirty years in China, where he learned traditional brush painting—xieyi and gongbi—from Chinese artists.  He now applies these Asian watercolor techniques to American east-coast landscapes, flora, and fauna.  Elements of spirituality are pivotal to his paintings.
