Join us for a new two-part 3D printing and Computer Aided Design (CAD) program designed for teens (ages 13+) and parents/guardians. The first session focuses on 3D printing and allows participants to complete the 3D printer orientation through the library. Completing this orientation will allow participants to use the library’s 3D printers. The second session focuses on CAD and teaches participants the basics of using the open-source software FreeCAD. Come learn how to design basic parts in FreeCAD as well as how to 3D print those parts! Please bring your library account number for the 3D printer orientation and a USB drive to save your work. Grades 9-12. Registration is required. Please fill out a separate registration for each individual attending.
