Art Moves Us into neighborhoods across the city this winter! Virginia MOCA is partnering with Virginia Beach Public Library to offer free, all-ages artmaking from January through March.

In this Arts for Learning workshop, young kids will create paintings of clouds and the sky by mixing colors and letting paint spread into different shapes. Hands-on, interactive fun! Ages 3-5 with caregiver. Registration is required.

Create a simple Malian mud cloth! You’ll learn about the cultural significance of this ancient art form as you design your very own mud cloth to bring home. Age 12-18. Registration is required.

Join Arts for Learning’s Nin-Eanna Bryant for “Expressions in Color,” where you’ll design and paint a mandala that reflects your unique self.

In this fun, hands-on workshop, you’ll create a mixed media work of art, such as designing a personal mandala or an African Kente cloth.  Grades 9 and up. Registration is required.
